The graph below compares summer rainfall (Apr-Sep) with that of the winter months (Oct-Mar).
Winter rainfall is considered more 'valuable' as it is this rain that replenishes underground supplies.

There are two trend lines, both of which indicate a slight reduction in rainfall here in Sussex.
