courtesy of George Hunter Tuesday: Over half an inch of rain fell early this morning. Rainfall is almost at the August average with 19 days to go. The yellow line (this year) on the cumulative rainfall graph continues to fly upwards. However it will still take a very wet autumn to make this a wetter year than 2000. My guess is that we are in for another indian summer. Monthly temperature graph, updated for July. The month was a degree warmer on average than last year at 16.6 deg c. The high was 28.2 degrees. As you can see the summer is an obvious improvement on 2007, but very disappointing in comparison with 2006, which was so hot and dry. ![]() Metcheck's
