Well Depth

The
graph shows the level of water in our well. The level has hovered
around the 15ft level for the last couple of years. The
highest
level reached has been around 32ft and the lowest about 12ft.
The
exact source of the well
is not known but it seems to be fed by
groundwater which feeds down from Nymans and the land towards
Handcross. There are several springs on a springline about 30ft below
the level of the well
top, so it seems logical that the well taps into
this supply.

Despite the wet weather the level continues to fall
